"It's not what you look at that matters; it's what you see."
Henry David Thoreau

Statement From The Artist
I come to the world of art with a degree of humility tinged by a childlike sense of complete confidence in my own vision. In this regard, I feel a duty to explore without fear.
If anything I say resonates with visitors to this site, it may be that a painting must be experienced in person to have its full effect. In a world of digital images, fast social-media sharing, and synthetic experience, one must place eyes on the canvas in person to connect fully with work that is uniquely produced for organic visual consumption.
I paint because the images beg to be born. I write because I can't not write. Of this world of creative impulse I am hopelessly afflicted, like a man set free in a prison without boundaries, confined only by limitless possibilities.
We are imperfect caretakers of this perfect gift, that in turn brings us to the brink of perfect understanding.

More To Discover
RAIN
Inside, away from you
And the wetness
You bring
I hear nevertheless
Your dance upon the pain
Unceasing droplets
As if delivered in perfect
Time to every parched thought
Every dry desire posing
